The Story
My path into the captivating world of drinks began not in a bar or a vineyard, but in a kitchen. Inspired by my mother’s culinary artistry, I developed an early appreciation for flavor and experimentation. It was the captivating realm of molecular gastronomy, however, that truly ignited my passion. Transforming the familiar screwdriver into a popping caviar shot was my first foray into the art of elevating the drinking experience with science and a touch of theatrical flair.

However, I soon realized that the world of drinks, while rich and diverse, often felt inaccessible to the general public. Pretentiousness and gatekeeping prevented many from truly appreciating the artistry and history behind their favorite beverages. This realization fueled my desire to democratize drink knowledge, to share my expertise in a friendly and approachable manner.
Thus, Drinkologistt was born – a platform dedicated to simplifying the complex world of beverages. My tagline, ‘Drinking Simplified,’ reflects my commitment to making wine, spirits, cocktails, and beers accessible to everyone. Through engaging content, educational seminars, and consulting services, I empower individuals to discover their own palates and appreciate the stories behind their drinks.
This fascination with the intersection of chemistry and cocktails led me to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering, where I delved into the science behind alcohol production, distillation, and blending. Simultaneously, my academic pursuits were complemented by a deep dive into the world of wine and spirits, culminating in advanced certifications from WSET. I became captivated by the history and cultural significance of these beverages, their regional nuances, and the intricate processes that shaped their character.

My experiences range from crafting innovative cocktail menus for bars and restaurants to developing educational programs for global audiences, including Caricom. I’ve also partnered with distributors to create unique tasting experiences, such as advent-calendar-style spirit boxes, designed to expand palates and demystify the world of fine spirits.
At the core of my philosophy is the belief that the best drink is the one you enjoy, served exactly how you like it. I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and passion, fostering a culture of inclusivity and appreciation for the art of drinking. This website serves as a portfolio of my work and also a way for people to reach out to me for services such as beverage program development, consulting, brand strategy and activation, education and training, product development etc.
